GROHE gives Sensia Arena customers the attention they deserve
A toilet seems so trivial. But a life without.. Unfortunately a reality for too many people
Historically, the toilet has been the invention that has saved the most lives. However, more than a third of the world's population lives without a toilet. We consider a life without a shower toilet to be quite a sacrifice on quality of life. Let alone that you even have to do without a toilet
Every year on November 19, on World Toilet Day, Simavi draws attention to the global lack of good sanitation. Worldwide, 2.5 billion people still do not have access to a toilet, a third of the world's population. As a result, they run major health risks, such as illnesses due to poor hygiene and dehydration due to diarrhoea.
Without proper sanitation, these diseases can easily spread. And is it even life-threatening? Every year 80,000 children die unnecessarily from diseases as a result of poor sanitation.
