Both your Geberit AquaClean More (Comfort/Classic) and your Geberit AquaClean Tuma Comfort are equipped with a ceramic honeycomb filter that purifies bad odors in your toilet. This honeycomb filter type 3 automatically filters unpleasant odors when the user takes a seat in the shower toilet. The odor particles (negative odor ions) – which provide the odor – are converted by carbon into a neutral odor (neutral odor ions). And thanks to this carbon filter, everyone can enjoy hygienic cleaning as well as fresh air in the toilet, because stench does not have to smell.
The Geberit AquaClean honeycomb ceramic filter Type 3 (242999001) has a service life of approximately four to five years with average use of the odor extraction system. Depending on the use, Geberit recommends this once every three years to replace.
The ceramic honeycomb filter on the AquaClean shower toilet is located at the More on the bottom right of the device and at the Tuma on the backside. It is secured with a snap spring making it easy to replace without an installer. Follow the step-by-step plan below to replace the honey filter.
